    3. Does anyone have information on Ann Francis STURGILL who married TimothyPERKINS (b1736). His first wife was Miriam Sperry and everyone knows aout her, but Ann was another wife, some say she was #1, but I think it more likely she was #2. She died in ASHE Co, NC, where he went after leaving CT, so first wife was probably buried in CT. Francis & Timothy had at least one child, LYDIA, don't know birthdate or spouse. I am trying to find out if they had any more children, specifically, William PERKINS b 1783, probably ASHE Co, NC. 1. Ronnie, make minor correction
    2. MRS DENISE E READY
    3. Ronnie, make this minor correction. I noticed when I printed it out, that the children of Capt.Schubel (8) were printing up alittle out of wack. They ended up in the left hand margin but, belong with their other siblings. Push them over so that all lines up perfectly. I hope you liked what I sent to you. It took me quite awhlle to get it all down for you here on-line. If it was your birthday, I'd say, HAPPY BIRTHDAY. Anyhow, I put together the bits a pieces from a couple of different publications to get it all down. I miss one publication in my "sourse" list. This would be the book called, The Descendants of Rufus Lyman Perkins of Chester & Rockingham Co.,VT. In the back of this book p.61 & 62, this is where the children of John & Mary (Sholes) Perkins children are listed. I believe his real name was not JOHN but,Jonathan Perkins .He is the one that deeded the land to David Perkins who m. Eunice Rogers in 1797.But, I may be wrong because according to the one of the books, he was mentioned in the will of Philip Mallsor/Malsworth, even though his mother was probably Sarah Bailey and not Lydia Mallsor/Malsworth who was the second wife of JOHN PERKINS of Lyme,CT. The information in the RUFUS PERKINS book came from a book called, Genealogical & Biographical Record of New London,CT by, J.H. Beers & Co., Chicago,IL, pub.1905. In this book, JOHN PERKINS of Lyme,CT is only mentioned with is first wife, SARAH BAILEY whereas we now know that he also m. Lydia Mallsor/Malsworth. Someone really needs to get her last name straightend out to be sure of what it was. Write me back... Denise "Perkins" Ready

    1. Re: Services offered to help with IGI records
    2. Unless I missed something, this "IGI record help" message is completely unsigned. I think it would be best to know exactly with whom we're dealing -- full name, address, phone, exact research offered, rates, incidental expenses, and so on. I hope I don't sound paranoid, but I know that any reputable genealogist will be more than happy to provide all these answers up front, perhaps to the list but certainly to any potential client on a one-to-one basis. Best, Linda Courtemanche.

    3. I am new to this list and would like to let everyone on the list know who I am researching, just in case someone else is searching same lines. I am looking for information on Eliza Jane PERKINS b 30Dec1801 in New Paltz, Ulster Co, NY. She mrd Peter R Rogers b 16Apr1799 in Fishkill, Dutchess Co, NY. Her application for widows pension due her for Peter's service in War of 1812 states that she and Peter were married by a Rev Mr PERKINS, a Baptist minister, on 4Jul1819 in Milton, Ulster Co, NY. Have always wondered if he may have been related to Eliza somehow. Eliza and Peter moved around alot, living at various times in NYS in Dutchess Co, Seneca Co, Steuben Co, Ontario Co and eventually settled in Hornby, Steuben Co and raised their family. They had 12 children born between 1822 and 1850. These children were: Daniel, George Woodruff, Charles, Chauncey, Hannah, Phoebe Ann (my husband's line), Mary, Henry, Richard, Lawson, Charlotte and Peter D. Eliza died in Hornby 20Mar1884 and Peter died there also on 16Apr1799. I know little else about Eliza. I have a small tidbit of info that states that Eliza's father was a Dutchman and could not speak English, but I have no valid source for this. I also have come to believe that the Rev Mr Perkins, the Baptist minister who married Peter and Eliza, was one Aaron Perkins of the Lattintown Baptist Church (this church is in Milton, NY and is still active today). It appears that this Rev Aaron Perkins was the minister there from about November of 1812 until about 1824 which would make the time frame right. I have no further info on Aaron, and my efforts to contact the Lattintown Church have thus far been unsuccessful. If anyone can give me any help with any of this it would be greatly appreciated. Thanks, Nancy Scott
