    3. You second version is more correct than the first. I don't have it all down to Nicholas though with this reference. Richard and Elizabeth Mompesson left no heirs. In his will he mentions children of his siblings. See "The History of Ufton Court, of the Parish of Ufton, in the County of Berks, and of the Perkins Family: compiled from Ancient Records," by A. Mary Sharp 1892. Reprinted by Higginson Books, Salem, MA. Paula

    1. PERKINS, Zopher/ Eliza Jane 1800 NY
    2. Roger and Nancy Scott
    3. I am looking for information about Eliza Jane PERKINS b 30 Dec 1801 in New Paltz, Ulster Co, NY. She mrd Peter Rogers in 1819 in Milton, Ulster Co, NY. Zopher PERKINS is listed on the 1798 assessment records of Ulster Co as owning land there. This makes him a good possibility as ELiza's father. Does anyone on the list have more info on Zopher PERKINS who was in Ulster Co, NY about that time? Also, the other PERKINS listed as landowners on that 1798 assessment roll are: Hannah PERKINS Ebenezer PERKINS (listed alone on one parcel and co owner of another with Henry) Henry PERKINS Does anyone have any more info on any of them? Thanks, Nancy Scott

    3. I forgot to mention in my first message. The original sender of those repeated messages had nothing to do with the fact that they kept repeating. It was happening to every message being posted. One of the subscribers had some kind of loop in his address and when the messages were delivered t hiim, they would immediately loop back to the list, and be sent to everyone again. The person with the loop in his address was not one of the people who had sent those messages. It was someone else entirely. Just thought I would clear that up. Sandy

    3. I think we have all been getting repeated messages. What happened was, one of the subscribers had a loop back to the list in his address. That was sending the messages back to the list over and over again. I think it is taken care of now. I hope so anyway. Sandy

    3. Hello I have received three different messages on this list 8 times in the last day or so, One is from Paul Redden and the other two are from Wayne Vannatta. It is obvious from the Date field in the header that they only sent it once. All have the same time. What is changing is the Resent-Date. Each message has a different value in this field. I would also say that this is the only rootsweb list that it is happening on, of those that I belong to. For some reason the server is repeating sending the same three messages.
