Sorry about the incorrect post :(
Batya, Sorry I didn't make myself too clear. They do not show up on the Unconnected People Display because they ARE connected - to each other. This is why I thought maybe I shouldn't make them husband and wife. Wendy S capt@frontiernet.net
Here's my contribution. I'm always glad to provide sources, or just do the electronic equivalent of "chewing the fat." Until you get to the Enfield family, by the way, what I have below is copied (and possibly not very well) from secondary sources. After that I have at least put in some credible work. This is in NGS Register format, mostly, but ONLY MY ANCESTORS APPEAR. Their siblings do NOT, unless (as happens twice) I am descended from both siblings. This line is essentially Ipswich, MA > Enfield, MA-CT > Weathersfield, VT > Springfield, VT. Love to hear from anyone who connects! I have a little bitty Perkins boy only six years old I sure would like to find a home for. He is in the 1870 EBR parish census in my ggrandfathers household, Isaiah S. Farris. We are assuming from word of mouth testimony that his mother is my ggrandfathers wife. Also from same testimony we are told he has three uncles and a father that lived here in La. Wiley, Matthew, and John Perkins are the supposed uncles and James A. Perkins is supposed to be his father. I have nothing to document this. Sure hope you or someone on the list knows where he belongs.
