    1. Daniel Reece Perkins - IL, IA
    2. Alice Benson
    3. Hi, I'm looking for information on the ancestors and brothers/sisters of Daniel Reece Perkins. Particularly - do any of you know the ancestors (or descendants) of Isaac, Stephen, Jonathan, Jesse or Timothy, all found in Illinois as adults between 1820-1835? If you know these lines it will probably help me as I try to rule them out of my on-going research. Known brothers/sisters of Daniel Reece Perkins: Elisha M. b. 11 Mar 1799; Solomon b. 1 Feb 1801; Samuel b. 1802-1810(?); sister b. 1810-1815. Daniel Reece was born 22 Apr 1797 in Kentucky, died 30 Nov 1866 Greenfield, Warren, Iowa. Married 1) Rachel HERRIN about 1820 in Illinois; 2) Evelina JONES about 1828/29 in Franklin County, Illinois; 3) Francis (?) probably 1852 in Warren County, Iowa. He had many children which I have information about. He spent much of his life in Warren County, Illinois then Warren County, Iowa. Thanks for your help on this, Alice alicebenson@earthlink.net

    3. Upon seeing the name Aaron Perkins in your letter I thought I had found a connection. But the Aaron in my tree is Aaron and Mary Howell Rhea, parents of Lucy Rhea who was the wife of Levi Perkins. (b. 1787) My Perkins linage starts with Richard(1665-1705) Plymouth, England. Settled in Baltimore Co. MD. Then Richard II (b.1689) ; Richard III (b. 1713). Richard III migrated to Lincoln Co. NC; Robert Biggin Perkins (b. 1736) . Had 11 children. Eldest son was Ute (b.1761) and a brother Levi (b. unknown to me); Ute had a son Levi (b. 1787) Ute served in the Revolutionary War. He left NC about 1789 and moved to Abbeville and Pendleton area SC. Then about 1804 they moved to White Co. Tenn and on to Ill. in 1827. Levi and wife Lucy Rhea remained in Tenn instead of going with his father to Ill. Levi served with the 4th Tenn. Militia of West Tenn. (War of 1812.) Good luck in your search. ---------- > MATTHEW PERKINS b. ca 1775 in PA, and wife Ruth Sellars, m. in Bracken > Co. KY, in 1797. 2. DENISE PERKINS READY
    3. Hi all, just wanted to share my excitement. I recently upgraded my computer and now am able to surf the www and in doing so I started to visit the Vermont Genealogy page run by GenWeb and owned by Mark Felone. I was looking for any additional information on my William Perkins who resided in Pomfret,VT as early as 1781. By reading the brief history on Pomfret,Windsor Co.,VT and the page about the Rev. War Soldiers who served from the state of VT. I found that they lacked information about this man and his family. I then wrote to the page owner to ask if he would be interested in my research on Wm.Perkins of Pomfret,VT? He wrote back and said, "sure". Just received notice from him that he placed my research on the Windsor Co.,VT Web page. If anyone wants to view it, go to..... .. www.homepages.together. net/~cmfelone/windsorcounty.htm P.S noticed one mistake, under Lent H.Perkins, it is written he died 1853 Feb,04 age 6. This should read "age 65". Denise "Perkins" Ready
