    1. Plz read-Tks for all your help
    2. To all of you who have responded to the flood of queries that I have posted to all these lists, THANK YOU ALL. There were just so many of you (well over 50) that i only responded to the ones that I was able to use (many were duplicates indicating that this is a really educated bunch of researchers) Now, I have a different request..... I fwd and post a lot of messages that I come across or are sent to me. I do this so that those who might have an interest in the material can have a look at it too. I run into a bit of a wee problem when the readers of the fwdngs email me for more info. I have nothing for them as I did not write the original posting. So I have to take the time to write individual replies telling them to write directly to the original address, not to hit the reply button which of course addresses their mail to me. So my request this morning is that everyone try to remember to send their queries to the writer of the original postings whenever we see that the posting to which we are responding is actually being forwarded to that list or when we see an address heading inside the email that is not of the latest person sending the material. Again, thanks so much to all of you, not only do I greatfully receive your responses to my queries but I do highly value your comments and suggestions. 1. PERKINS Plantation?
    2. I just learned that my ggggrandfather, John Butler, was an overseer for Perkins Plantation in middle Tennessee. This probably would have been about 1815 - 1835. I know that John was in Williamson County, TN by 1840, but can't say for sure where he was prior to that. Does anyone know of the Perkinses who might have had a plantation in Williamson County in the early 1800's, or elsewhere in middle Tennessee? Thank you. Karla Butler Everett Bakersfield, CA
