The Topeka Daily Capital Topeka, Shawnee County, KS Friday - July 21, 1961 Mrs. Sanborn Dies at Age 91; Rites Monday. Mrs. Elizabeth C. SANBORN, 91, a resident of Topeka since 1923, died Thursday in a Topeka hospital after a two-week illness. Born Nov. 1, 1869, at Johnstown, Pa., she was reared in Saline County and lived in the Maple Hill community before moving to Topeka. She was a member of the Seventh Day Adventist Church. Surviving are a son, Wilfred SCHULTZ and a daughter, Mrs. Grace SPENCER, both of Sipio, Ind.; another daughter, Mrs. Mildred M. HAWKINS of 201 Western; 1 grandchildren; 30 great-grandchildren; three sisters, Mrs. Minnie M. STUBLE of Salina, Mrs. Clara L.LEITH of West Palm Beach, Fla.; and Mrs. Mamie CREWS of 521 Huntoon; and a brother, George A. DOPP of Salina. Services will be at 2 p.m. Monday in the Wall-Diffenderfer Chapel with burial in the Mount Hope Cemetery.
