I have an Adam William MARKER, born about 1849 in Philadelphia, married to Sarah RUTTER/RITTER born about 1851 in Philadelphia..daughter of my great great grandparents George and Emma RUTTER who were both born circa 1830 in Philadelphia, PA. Adam MARKERs parents were Robert MARKER and Mary ALBURGER. Robert's parents were Conrad MARKER and Martha Margaret ? possibly SMITH. Conrad's parents were Gottfried MARKER and Marie Magdalena SCHMID. Gottfried had a brother Johann Andreas (Andrew) MARKER who was married to Elizabeth KIELHAUER/KILLHOWER who married Samuel RAMBO, a direct descendent of the Swedish RAMBO Pennsylvania family, after Johann's death.
