HERMAN Clearfield, Pa. Cathy L. Herman of Clearfield, Pa., died on Thursday, September 23, 2004 at Clearfield Hospital. She was 43. She was born on March 4, 1961 in Port Jervis, a daughter of Hazel (Hegarty) Coon of Clearfield Pa. and the late Glenn D. Coon. Ms. Herman was a private duty nurse's aide having worked with many families within the area during the past 7 years. In addition to her mother, she is survived by a son, Travis Herman at home; two brothers, Kim T. Coon and wife, Vickie of Mechanicsburg, and Kevin G. Coon of Clearfield, Pa.; a sister, Cindy J. Kozykowski of Clearfield, Pa., a fiance, Melvin Gosnell of Clearfield, Pa.; and several nieces and nephews. In addition to her father, she was predeceased by her husband, Larry Herman in 1989. Funeral services will be held at the Kevin A. Beardsley Funeral Home, Clearfield on Monday at 10 a.m. with Dr. Duane A. White officiating. Interment will follow in the Beulah Cemetery, Ramey. Friends will be received at the funeral home on Sunday from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. and on Monday from 9 to 10 a.m. The family suggests that memorial contributions be made to Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals, RD#3, Box 86, Philipsburg, PA 16866. "Tony" Krupovchin of Godeffroy, NY, a 39 year resident of the area, died Thurdsday, September 23rd at Bon Secours Community Hospital, Port Jervis with his family by his side. He was 89. He was born February 22, 1915 in Coaldale, PA the son of the late Anton and the late Mary Draczek Krupovchin. Tony retired from the Town of Deerpark and also worked for Channel Master in Huguenot. Before moving to this area he worked for 25 years at Woolworth's in Manhattan. An Army Veteran of World War II, he served as a S/Sgt. in the Fighting 45th Division, and was a member of the Milford American Legion Post, No. 139. He was also a member of the Leisure Seniors of Deerpark and the Deerpark Seniors. Surviving are his wife of 59 years Mary I. Ferrari Krupovchin whom he married on August 16th, 1945 in Blackstone, Virginia at home; daughter Erica Morrison-Brazitis & her husband Frank Brazitis of Belchertown, MA; two grandchidren: Lynne Raymer and her husband John of Belchertown, MA, and Robert G. Morrison, III of Belchertown, MA; a niece, Barbara Wlassek of Henderson, NV; also several other nieces & nephews. His good friend Ronnie Galletly & her husband Ron of Montgomery, NY also survive.
