Searching for any Janney, Jany, or Jenney. Seems the name Janney in America has been spelled various ways. My 4th great grandfather was Isaac Janney, son of William and Elizabeth Moon Janney. They moved to Loudoun Co., Va. Their son, Isaac returned to Pa. where he married a lady named Hannah(UNKNOWN SURNAME). He was removed from the Quaker Faith, since he had married out. He had been a member of the Falls/Fallsington Quaker Faith. In the 1771 minutes of the Quaker Mtg. noted Isaac Janney had married a non member. Her name was not mentioned. After marrying they moved to Franklin Co.,Va. They lived close to a family named Jones. I have wondered if her name may have been Jones before marrying. Any help would be appreciated. Ginnypin@aol.com
