You may have a problem since the state has maintained vital statistics since 1906 only. For earlier periods of time you will need to go to the county and if you know it the church. And you may have a difficult time at the county level as well - I would suggest you contact the county where your people were residing to see what records they may have and if they can offer suggestions. Have you tried the census records - which are considered primary documentation; if you know where and the name of the head of household you may find out at least the birth year. Good luck!
