The Topeka Capital-Journal Topeka, Shawnee County, KS Thursday - July 8, 2004 CAROL TEDA BERGER Carol Teda Berger, who was born Jan.19, 1943, in Philadelphia, and who subsequently made her home in Topeka, died of heart failure while on vacation in Florida on July 6, 2004. She was the daughter of Irving and Ann Breslow Berger. She was a comedian, an educator, an entrepreneur, an amateur psychiatrist, a cards and sports fanatic, a lover of life, a friend to all and to all a friend. She is survived by her loving brother, Jerry Berger, and her sister-in-law, Mary Berger; and her nieces and nephews, Noralee and Josh Penrod, Joshua, Ian, Nikki and Noah, David Berger, Jennifer Berger, Patty Dunn, Leah, Madison, and Annalee. She will be greatly missed by all the souls who she touched. Services will Friday afternoon at Kevin Brennan Family Funeral Home, 2801 S.W. Urish Road, with burial following in Mount Hope Cemetery. Time of service will be announced in Friday s Topeka Capital-Journal. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in her memory to the American Diabetes Foundation, the American Heart Association and Temple Beth Shalom, Topeka, in care of the funeral home.
