Anthony married Christianna Durst and settled in VA where his name evolved to KIGER. Anthony's son Benjamin KIGER had a son William Wiekle KIGER who was an Oregon Trail pioneer about 1860 who settled in Corvallis, OR. Kiger Gorge and Kiger Creek in Harney County, OR are named for this family as is Kiger Island in Corvallis. The famous wild Kiger mustangs are named for Kiger Gorge. 2) Jacob, born about 1755 in Douglassville, PA. Jacob served in the Rev. Jacob settled in Fayette Co., PA. He married and had at least one daughter, Sarah--probably other children. This family name also evolved into KIGER. 3) Henry, born Douglassville, PA -- was married and had two daughters but was decd. by 1805 as listed in his father's will. 4) Catherine born 9 July 1757, Douglassville, died 18 Sept. 1783 in York PA. She married William LEWIS of Berks County, PA. Their three children are named in her father's will. 5) Mary Magdalena born 17 Dec. 1763 in Douglassville, bapt. at Trinity Lutheran Church, Reading.
