Hi Debra: Thank you so much for your offer to check census' for me but I have checked census material,in the area 'til I'm abt blue in the face. Have found my man (age 4 yrs) in house of his step-father 1900 but can't run him down earlier as he was b mid-census yrs(1896). I have found his Mother 1890 but she was still a child living w/parents. When my man was b the Mother was only 14-15 y/o. I am REALLY lost on this search. Many thanks again, for your kind offer. Bev
