Hi listers Many thanks to Debra for the information on my Turleys. Yes Those are mine on the 1881 census although the street name should read Turley Street - a mistake in spelling I think. That's marvellous to find them a bit later on also. I think I found Joseph's death in about 1934 on one web site I looked at, and yes please I would love copies so I can show them to my last surviving uncle. Many thanks also to Eliz. for the information she sent to me. Could any listers suggest what I do next to try and trace any children of Albert Turley (I think born about 1907)and birth and marriage of May Turley (birth date unknown) -if any- which may have been born to them. Are there any newspapers in which I could put an advertisement? I am assuming this would be for the town of Wilkinsburg, Allegheny Co., P.A. Here's hoping for some success with this, but many thanks for the help so far. Pat in England.
Hi, Pat: You're quite welcome. The pages are on their way. Do you think Albert and May started their families by 1930? If they did, maybe someone with access to a 1930 census index will be able to provide some help. Good luck with your search!
