Can anyone help me find out more about being adopted in Troy PA? This is what I have so far. Its not much but maybe someone can help me. Mother: Jeannette Baxter b.about 1908 She was 14-16 years old at the time of the adoption Father: Eddy Youmans (not really sure) He could of been 18 years old The child's name is Carl Youmans Baxter DOB 9-12-23 in Troy Pa. Carl was adopted in Binghamton NY By Ray Titus Hackett Ray was a Judge in Binghamton NY His Wife is Lael B Hackett. They change Carl's name to Loren Douglas Hackett.They called him Tom as a nick name. The adoption was in Binghamton 3-12-1924 Is their anyway I can find out more about His real parents and if so could someone help me out.
