Thanks so much for the note and offer to ask about my Osencope/Osincup/Ozencoup etc. family! They are a complete mystery. I did just discovered there are a lot of this family in my home town (Vestal, NY)!! The family branch connected to the Barnes must be all part of this same family. I recently found a reference to Jacob Osincup (Sr.?) being in the Revol. War as a Hessian soldier captured at Valley Forge (Trenton). Any info greatly appreciated - Diane * * * * * * ~ ~ ~ ~ Please check our Home Page ~ ~ ~ ~ * * * * * * http://familytreemaker.genealogy.com/users/a/n/d/Sharon-D-Andreasen/ -----Original Message----- From: Mdre007@aol.com [mailto:Mdre007@aol.com] Sent: Thursday, July 08, 2004 11:34 PM To: PENNSYLVANIA-L@rootsweb.com Subject: [PA] Margaret Barnes Diane, I saw your request for some information on Betsy Osencope, but I have not heard that name before. This Saturday our family is having a big reunion, I can ask someone who will be there if they have come across that name. There will be several of us who are researching our family that are coming. Hope I will be able to let you know something! Mdre007@aol.com ==== PENNSYLVANIA Mailing List ==== No FLAMING allowed on this list! We are a gentler kinder genealogy list.
