My earliest GEIGER and family is Johann Valentine GEIGER born 1661 in Daudenzell, Mosbach, Baden married in 1730 to Maria Barbara BAUER (BOWER) of Ittlingen, Kraichgau, Germany. My GEIGERs marrried into the ROBESON family which was married into the POTTS of Colebrookdale, PA. Which of course bring us to more RUTTERs. Now, does anyone else out there think that Michael RIGHTER and his families connect to the RUTTERs and POTTS of Colebrookdale, PA? Good luck, Ella --- Hi, Ella- You just said the magic word--GEIGER. <g> Something doesn't look quite right about the lineage you show above. Valentine GEIGER of Ittlingen, Northern Kraichgau, Germany, emigrated to America/Philadelphia in 1717 on one of the "three little ships" mentioned in the introduction to Pennsylvania German Pioneers by Strassburger and Hinke, along with his father-in-law, Rev. Anthony Jacob HENCKEL. Valentine GEIGER was married to Johanna Frederica HENCKEL and had 7 children with her and then married second Maria Elizabeth SCHMIDT after his first wife's death. The connection to the ROBESON family, is that Valentine GEIGER's son Christopher (from his first marriage) married second (after the death of his first wife Mary Barbara GEIGER, nee GEIGER, widow of his older brother Anthony GEIGER), Mary/Maria ROBESON (1747-1808). Christopher GEIGER had 7 children from his first marriage and another 7 children from the second marriage. Joan
