Hi My Gr Gr Grandfather was John Lewis Palmer,b.10 Oct 1815 in Chester, PA. He married Sarah Chandler,b.23 Aug 1815 in Fayette,PA. His parents may have been named Ephram and Elizabeth ,but that is not a documented fact at this time to my knowledge. I'd like to trace his lineage in PA but don't have a clue as to where to look. Since I'm relatively new to genealogy, can someone advise me on the best way to obtain this information? This couple homesteaded in Johnson co.
