You have to send them a letter with the name of the ship, the date you are looking for and if you know which port the ships your ancestors came into that helps, since often there were several ships with the same name. If you know where they sailed from that would also help. The first two items are the most important I think. They were very nice. The sent me a Xerox copy of the pictures they had of the two ships I was looking for so I could decide if I wanted them, along with their current price list (this was about 6 years ago). When I ordered the pictures they also sent all kinds of information - size, who built it, who owned it, when it was sold, any later names of the ship, and how it ended up. Very interesting, especially the size of the ships!!! How my grandfather came over on such a small ship is beyond me.
