Harold Edward LOBAUGH, associate executive of the Synod of Kansas of the United Presbyterian Church, died in a local hospital Friday. He was 62 years old. He lived at 5529 W. 13th. Dr. Lobaugh served as the president of the Kansas Council of Churches in 1955. He lived in Topeka for 10 years, coming from Tulsa. He was born Nov. 13, 1898, in Conoquenessing, Pa., and was a veteran of World War I. Surviving are his widow, Helen Burns Lobaugh at home; two daughters, Mrs. Norman GALLAGHER of Kansas City and Mrs. John GAVEY of Albuquerque, N.M.; a son, Bruce Lobaugh of Oneonta, N.Y.; four sisters, Miss Lena Lobaugh of Washington, D.C.; Mrs. G.E. CHANDLER and MRs. J.W. REARICK of Conoquenessing, and Mrs. Ruth L. WALKER, a missionary in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia, and two brothers, John Lobaugh of Butler, Pa., and Joseph M. Lobaugh of Ashland, Ky. Services will be announced by McMichael Memorial Home.
