RAYMOND FRANK CAMPANELLI, entered into eternity with his Lord Jesus on this 17th day of December, 2004. Ray was born Ocyober 8th, 1935 in Avella, Pennsylvania. Beloved husband of Linda Rae and father of Angela, Raymond and Roland, he is forever loved. He served his country as specialist 4th class, U.S. Army Airborne and Armored infantry from 1954 to 1963. His teaching and football career spanned 14 years in Southwestern Pennsylvania. In 1974 he joined State Farm Insurance Company, retiring his Agency Field Executive position in 1998. That same year he was inducted in the Pennsylvania Sports Hall of Fame. Ray and Linda then retired to Goodyear, Az. Although officially retired, Ray accepted a coaching position for the Tolleson freshman football team; leading them to winning 2004 season, thus completing his life mission: to demonstrate the power of passion, team work, and commitment.
