Hi all, I found this at http://www.genealogybuff.com: This death is from Allegheny County: Joseph Komar Mt. Pleasant Joseph Komar, 92, of Mt. Pleasant RD6, died Tuesday, Oct. 9, 2001. He was born Oct. 5, 1909, in Mt. Pleasant Township, the son of the late John and Elizabeth Tomechko Komar. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Anna Polansky Komar, on Aug. 16, 2001; and a sister, Mary Smail. He was a member of St. Florian Catholic Church, United, and the UMWA District 2. Prior to retirement, he was employed as a road worker for PennDOT. He is survived by nieces and nephews. Friends will be received at the JAY A. HOFFER FUNERAL HOME, Norvelt, Wednesday from 3 to 9 p.m. A blessing service will be held in the funeral home Thursday at 9:20 a.m. followed by a funeral Mass to be celebrated at 10 a.m. in St. Florian Catholic Church with the Rev. John M. Foriska as celebrant. Interment will follow in St. Florian Cemetery, Trauger. A wake service will be held in the funeral home Wednesday at 3 p.m. Sandra L. Hoffer, funeral director.
