    1. Death of Mrs. Lura Ann (Baldwin) Palmer
    2. The Chariton Leader, Chariton, Iowa Thursday, February 7, 1907 MRS. LURA ANN PALMER, daughter of WM. and MRS. BALDWIN, was born July 15, 1829, in Pennsylvania, and departed this life, Sunday morning, February 3, 1907, at the home of her son, REV. F.B. PALMER, aged 77 years, 6 months and 18 days.  Her husband, DR. O.T. PALMER, died in 1874, and she will be buried by his side in Forest Cemetery, Oskaloosa, Iowa.  Of a family of eight children, four are living, KATIE ELIZABETH, TRACY EDWARD, and ORAN KARL, of Des Moines, Iowa, and FRED BALDWIN, of Chariton. Brief prayer services were held at the Baptist Parsonage in Chariton, at 11 o'clock, Monday morning, Feb. 4th, conducted by Rev. M.G. Munn.  The deacons of the church acted as pall bearers.  Funeral services were held in the old home Baptist Church in Oskaloosa, at 10 o'clock on Tuesday morning, conducted by Rev, Whitcomb, MRS.
