His parents have not been determined. He married Martha Minney, daughter of Daniel Minney and Mary Reeder, circa 1799 at Bedford Co., PA. Andrew was recorded in the census in 1800 at Providence & Colrain Twps., Bedford Co., PA. Andrew was recorded in the census in 1820 at Madison Twp., Licking Co., OH and in the census in 1830 at Newark Twp., Licking Co., OH. By 1840, his wife, Martha was shown living alone in Newark Twp. and Andrew is assumed to have died before 1840 at Licking Co., OH. Children of Andrew and Martha (Minney) Martin : i. DANIEL was born 26 Apr 1799 at Southampton or Bethal Twp., Bedford Co., PA. He married Sarah Hagan on 29 Aug 1823 at Guernsey Co., OH. Daniel was as Associate Judge for Licking Co. between 1842 and 1849 at Newark, Licking Co., OH. Daniel died on 23 Aug 1890 at, Martinsburg, Keokuk Co., IA, at age 91. He was buried circa 27 Aug 1890 at Martinsburg Cem., Martinsburg, Keokuk Co., IA. ii. PHOEBE was born between 1800 and 1810 at Bedford Co., PA. She married Robert Campbell on 25 Feb 1825 at Licking Co., OH. iii. RACHEL was born circa 1805 at Bedford Co., PA. She married Richard Stadden on 29 Jan 1824 at Licking Co., OH. She and Richard Stadden appeared on the census of 1840 in Jacksontown, Licking Twp., Licking Co., OH. iv. MARY was born 19 Apr 1805 at Bedford Co, PA. Her common name was Polly Martin. She married John Chamberlin Bigelow on 25 Dec 1826 at Newark, Licking Co., OH. She and John Chamberlin Bigelow appeared on the census of 14 Sep 1850 at Licking Twp., Jackson, Licking Co, OH Mary died circa 1855 at Newark, Licking Co., OH and was buried at Jacksontown Cemetery, Jacksontown, Licking Co., OH. v. ELIZABETH was born circa 1810 at PA . She married James Gibson circa 1830. She appeared on the census of 6 Jun 1860 in the household with James Gibson at Huron Twp., Des Moines Co., IA. vi. MARTHA JANE was born circa 1813 at Bedford Co., OH. She married Edmund C. Metts circa 1840. They appeared on the census of 2 Jul 1860 at Jackson Twp., Keokuk Co., IA. vii. WILLIAM was born circa 1816 at Guernsey Co., OH. He married Sarah Surname unknown circa 1837. He appeared on the census of 1820 in the household of his parents at Madison Twp., Licking Co., OH. William and his wife were recorded in the census on 30 Jul 1850 at Newark Twp., Near Granville, Licking Co., OH. They were again recorded in the census in 1860 at Madison Twp., Allen Co, IN.
