Hi Debra, The only thing that I could find was in the Chestnut Ward page 462b. There is a Thomas ELLIS age 35 and Margaret Ellis age 34 staying in a hotel. If this is them I do not know where their children are because the index is only by head of household or those over a certain age living in a household with a different name than the head of household. Unfortunately I haven't figured out the age yet. If it isn't them and they were in another state I can't help because I failed to mention that the index and census that I have is only for PA.
