Isaac TURNER b May 1788 Paris, FR came to US c 1792 d 1867 Wayne Co., PA. The family name was de la TOURNEUR (var. sp.). The only information I have on him is he enlisted in the War/1812 in Mamaroneck, Westchester Co., NY. He then disappears until he 'arrives' in Wayne Co. in 1848 when he married Nancy KELL(E)Y. They had 8 children. In a newspaper interview with one of his daughters, she gave the information re her father's date and place of birth and when he came to US. I have no info at all on Isaac's parentage or siblings. Family lore says he 'came from the West' to PA and was married at least once before he married Nancy. I believe he had a son John who lived next door to Isaac/Nancy in the 1850 census. The name Milton was given to several sons in those early years. The family was also prone to twins. Anyone missing a grandfather Isaac?? Diane * * * * * * ~ ~ ~ ~ Please check our Home Page ~ ~ ~ ~ * * * * * * http://familytreemaker.genealogy.com/users/a/n/d/Sharon-D-Andreasen/
