    2. I was thinking about the census too! Does anyone know what ward the hospital would be in? I've done a search on his name in the census and he didn't show up at all. I'm wondering that if I could find the ward and go through each name on the image itself I can find him. Thank you, Ella

Hi, Ella: Based on the Philadelphia census ward maps at marie.bravepages.com and Byberry's location in Northeast Philadelphia in the vicinity of Roosevelt Blvd. & Southhampton Rd., it looks like the hospital might be in ward #35 in the 1920 & the 1930 census. When I "browse" the 1930 census on Heritage Quest, there is a "Philadelphia Hospital for Mental Disease" shown in ward #35. If you can provide a name, I'll see if I can find the listing.
