Hi, My stepfather - Merrill Eugene Confer (born 08.02.1938/39) is dying from a male hereditary disease and my half brothers are concerned and interested in knowing more about their family history. They are also interested in finding fact with stories of possible Indian bloodline presumed to be from Worden side of the family. My Stepfather is Merrill Eugene Confer (born 08.02.1938/39) is the son of Merril Wilson Confer and Marguerite Jeanette Worden. Merril Wilson Confer - 01/05/1913-04/1972 : * I found in the 1930 Howard Township, Centre Co. census that Merril W Confer lived with relatives Harry E & Bertha G Schenck Confer. * Harry Edward Confer was the son of Robert Philip Confer & Alice Cynthia Deter. I am looking to see how Merril Wilson Confer was related Marguerite Jeanette Worden - 03/06/1919-07/15/1995: * Last know residence was North Bend, Clinton Co. * Marguerite may have had other siblings, but the only one I am aware of was "Uncle Kenny" who was born in PA. Uncle Kenny was married to Aunt Sara & lived in Southwood NY for a time. It is believed they moved to Florida later. * Merril & Marguerite had several children who I believe all grew up in foster families. The names I am aware of are Barbara, Richard, Denny, Danny (Denny & Danny were twins, Danny died young of suffocation due to plastic left on crib mattress), James, Sherman .
