Hi, The furthest back I have gotten is Wm. Smith in Brooklyn,NY. My uncle attended Columbia University and stated in our family genealogy that our Wm Smith was one of the founding members back in the 1750's. I'm still trying to get Columbia University to confirm that for me. Ernie
I'm interested in the SMITH name also. I have a g.g. grandmother (Marietta) who was born in N.Y. & came to Ohio & married a BIBLER. I haven't found her parents or siblings. Any help would be appreciated. Thank you.
