He was married to Emma UNKNOWN (Roley?). Emma UNKNOWN (Roley?) was born in 1858 in Virginia, USA. William F. SWEET and Emma UNKNOWN (Roley?) had the following children: 2. Frank SWEET was born in 1872 in Susquehanna City, Pennsylvania 3. Katie SWEET was born in 1876 in Pennsylvania, USA. 4. Emma SWEET was born in 1879 in Pennsylvania, USA. Note: According to the LDS files: *There is a William Sweet in the 1860 census (p. 437 20th Ward 1st Division Philadelphia city census taken on 31st July) with the Joseph Sweet family. Joseph was 44 years old, a tailor, born in Pennsylvania. His wife is Elizabeth, 31 years old born in England. SIblings show as Francis, 15 (male), and Catherine, 9. There is a Thomas Miller living with them who is 27 years old and a plasterer (most likely a relative perhaps of Elizabeth). Thomas and the children were all born in Pennsylvania William is shown as 5 years old. **William and family were in the 1880, Philadelphia, PA census. The 1880 Philadelphia City Directory Reads: Sweet William F., driver, h 1019 Arazona [should read Arizona]. SECOND GENERATION 2. Frank SWEET was born in Jan 1872 in Susquehanna City, Pennsylvania, USA. He died in Jan 1952. He was married to Clara LENHART (daughter of Henry F. LENHART, born in NY and Phoebe BANKS born in Pennsylvania) in 1893. Clara LENHART was born on 24 Aug 1878 in Wood County, Wisconsin, USA. She died on 29 Apr 1924. Frank SWEET and Clara LENHART had the following children: 5. Harry SWEET was born in Sep 1893 in York Town, Clark County, Wisconsin, USA. 6. Guerney SWEET was born in Apr 1896 in Clark County, Wisconsin, USA. 7. Murl (Merle) SWEET was born in Nov 1894 in Clark County, Wisconsin, USA. 8. Theresa (Tess) Mae SWEET was born on 29 Oct 1898 in Granton, Wisconsin. 9. Beatrice SWEET was born on 20 Mar 1902 in Wood County, Wisconsin. 10. Hi, Larry, Perhaps you already have this information, but if not: I found the Frank & Clara Sweet Family in the 1910 Census in Nebraska, Keith County, Chase, District 154 (image 2 of 3 ancestry.com) with this information: Sweet, Frank 39, born PA, father PA, mother PA - farmer, owned farm Sweet Clara 32, born Wisconsin, father: Michigan, mother: Minnesota Couple's 1st marriage, married 18 years, Clara had borne 8 children w/8 living though only five shown in this census (note that Clara would have Been just 14 when married. Sweet, Murl, 15 Sweet, Gurney, 15 Sweet, Tessie, 11 Sweet, Beatrice, 8 Sweet, Gilbert, 5 All the children were born in Wisconsin according to the census.
