DUNCAN and wife Jean Jane BOYD, emigrated some time before 1748, which is when their son, John, was born in Derry Twp., Lancaster County, PA. Both were Scots, but born and raised in Ulster (possibly County Tyrone), N Ireland. I got these names from an old DAR application. However, since every third Scot immigrant seems to have been named James, I'm hoping for any DUNCAN with a wife named Jean Jane BOYD who lived to Lancaster County, PA around that time. Derry Twp. became part of Dauphin County, and remains so today, if your book lists data by current counties. Thank you. Susan in Louisiana
