    3. Bella, USgenweb.com has a lot of cemeteries online. Do you happen to know what township Plymouth was in at that time? I've tried and just haven't been able to find the township, but that is the way most of the cemeteries are listed. I know how to find a County for a town or city, but not the township. Can anyone else help? Joan in Illinois On 8/19/06, bellapmcharter.net <[email protected]> wrote: > > Hello all, I have just subscribed to this list. 3. Hi Joan, Sadly, I don't know the township for Plymouth..or anywhere else, for that matter. I live in Minnesota and am searching for a lady on a list in Wales. Thank you for your efforts. Maybe someone will come up with the answer. Good luck with your research. 3. Plymouth is in Luzerne County... According to Heritage Quest, there was Plymouth Boro. & Plymouth Twp. in both 1870 & 1900. 3. Have you tried using the Geographic Names locator at: http://geonames.usgs.gov/ Select Domestic Names and then Search GNIS when the search screen appears, fill in the township name, state and leave the Feature Class blank. If you are looking for a specific town or city, select Populated Place from the Feature Class drop down menu. You can also search for cemeteries and other geographical features.
