Emma UNKNOWN was born in 1858 in Virginia, USA. William F. SWEET and Emma UNKNOWN had the following children: 2. Frank SWEET was born in 1872 in Susquehanna City, Pennsylvania 3. Katie SWEET was born in 1876 in Pennsylvania, USA. 4. Emma SWEET was born in 1879 in Pennsylvania, USA. Note: According to the LDS files: *There is a William Sweet in the 1860 census (p. 437 20th Ward 1st Division Philadelphia city census taken on 31st July) with the Joseph Sweet family. Joseph was 44 years old, a tailor, born in Pennsylvania. His wife is Elizabeth, 31 years old born in England. SIblings show as Francis, 15 (male), and Catherine, 9. There is a Thomas Miller living with them who is 27 years old and a plasterer (most likely a relative perhaps of Elizabeth). Thomas and the children were all born in Pennsylvania William is shown as 5 years old. **William and family were in the 1880, Philadelphia, PA census. Have you seen the record at LDS for Batch Number M748744 which shows an extracted record for a marriage between William F. Sweet and Emma J. Roley on 9 September 1875 in Philadelphia, Philadelphia, PA? It says she was born 20 May 1859 in Westmoreland, PA. It gives his birth as ....Philippines, but I do believe if you looked at the film, this is probably wrong. You might want to look at this yourself. I don't know how sure you are of the info you have on Emma. Do you know when and where he died? I can't find them anywhere after 1880. It seems his death certificate would be your best hope and family. For that matter, also for Emma Sweet.
