XENIA DAILY GAZETTE, XENIA, GREENE COUNTY, OH Tuesday, August 22, 2006 Viola L. (Clyde) Cox, 92, of Fairborn, passed away Saturday, Aug. 19, 2006 at Greene Memorial Hospital. She was born on Oct. 12, 1913 in Duke Center, Pennsylvania to the late Miles I. and Angela Palmatier Wilcox. Viola was preceded in death by three brothers, Lowell, Eugene and Francis Wilcox and one son Gilbert Clyde. She is survived by three sons David (Vi), Donald (Phyllis) and Russell (Kay) Clyde all of Redlands, Calif.; one daughter Lucille Kimball (Rudy) of Fairborn; daughter-in-law Barbara Clyde (Gilbert, deceased) of Riverside, Calif.; special friend George "Tony" Biggins of Fairborn. She was dearly loved by her many grandchildren and great-grandchildren and nieces and nephews. Viola had retired from the Kroger Company in 1985. Memorial services will be held at a later date at the family's convenience. Memorial contributions may be given to the charity of one's choice in Viola's memory.
