Hi All- This is an AMAZING website-I am looking for ANY information about a train wreck that occurred near Albany, NY about 1920 when the Hudson River was frozen. My uncle was supposed to have been a mail clerk on that train and he received grave injuries that kept him hospitalized for more than 7 years. He was never the same afterwards, suffering from paranoia, thinking that someone was coming to kill him everywhere he went. He lived with my grandmother until his death (and his children were made wards of the state when his wife was institutionalized as a schizophrenic.) Sad family story, but I remember him as a gifted musician and a very personable fellow. Ironic, that there was a wreck listed there from my hometown of Middletown, NY.
