I am awaiting information from Indiana State Library and Allen Public Library to see if there was a Fort Reed in Indiana.     3. Kate, if you just google "Fort Reed" you'll see a bunch in different states. What's important is what time period you are referring to because I see reference to Colonial, Civil and French/Indian wars.
