Sandra, I had a thought. If you are interested in finding out who the parents of Samuel Evert/Ebert were, PA state BDM has records for anyone who died past 1906, and these documents give the names of the father and mother of the deceased. Would you have any idea when Samuel died? It gets a little expensive to have them do a search, and we have that little problem with the Ebert/Evert/Everitt name changes, so we would have to know his death date for a simple search, which costs $9.00. I remember you saying that you found Samuel living with his son in Catasaqua? I think that is where you said he was. I will also keep my eye out for burial records, if it was Catasaqua let me know, I may get down to Lehigh County Historical Society next week.
