Hi guys, As most of you know I am a historian here at Andersonville. I have a newfound resource for those of you who had civil war ancestors who survived being imprisoned here. I have recently bought a copy of the 1905 dedication of the Pennsylvania monument at Andersonville which includes those survivors who applied to be here for the dedication and those who actually made the trip. I will be happy to do the lookup for anyone looking and will scan the cover, as well as the page showing their ancestors name if mentioned here for the event. There are roughly 700+ on this list I also have a copy of the book made for the recent rededication which has the list of those from Pennsylvania who died here. My offer is also to scan this and send to anyone interested. There are 1849 soldiers from Pennsylvania who died here. .
