Hi all..I hope someone can help. I've been tracing this line for many years and keep reaching dead ends. I am tracing the Rhodes family and with the variant spellings and the repetitiveness of Jacob, Henry, John and Daniel I am having a hard time sorting it all out. My Rhodes family was in Mercer County, OHIO by 1850. My 3rd great grandfather was Henry Rhodes b. about 1800 in supposedly Northumberland Co., PA. I believe he had brothers John and Daniel and I believe his father may have been Jacob Rhodes. Prior to Mercer Co., OH it appears they moved around Ohio a bit (possibly Wayne Co., Ohio and other counties). They all originated in Pennsylvania that is for sure and the only other clue I have is Northumberland Co., PA based on a court record (however, this was when Henry Rhodes was 82 years old) I would very much like to connect with others tracing this family in these area to try to sort out all of this.
