Debra, I had found this census entry some time ago, but I somehow cannot convince myself it is the same person based on information in the census. The wife is different, but I have reason to believe Sarah died and he may well have remarried. A lot of similarities exist though, and you have me rethinking the situation with your information below. This individual has been a stumbling block to me for quite some time now, but if I live long enough maybe someday I will find his parents so I can take it back another generation or two. We were always told by my g-grandmother (his g-g'daughter) that he descends from Gov. Bradford of the Mayflower, which may or may not be true, but wherever the trail leads me I'd sure like to find his parents. In any event, I thank you for your reply.
