Bucks Co PA-my MARTIN ancestors--James MARTIN b. 1710 Ireland? m. Ann MILLER.  They were from Bucks Co  where their 1st child was born and their 4th child Mary Martin was b. 1756 Northampton Co PA (Lower Mt. Bethel)  James & Ann Miller MARTIN eventually lived in Martin's Creek & had a mill there.  The town was named after them.  Ann Miller Martin had a sister Nancy Agnes Miller who married Alexander Galbraith--Ann Martin's daughter Mary Martin  married Nancy Agnes Miller Galbraith's son John--Mary & John were 1st cousins- Does anyone have any information on the MILLERS, MARTIN'S  or GALBRAITHS ________________________________ From: Susan Abramson <suenstu@hotmail.com> To: pennsylvania@rootsweb.com Sent: Saturday, July 12, 2008 8:20:14 PM Subject: Re: [PA] Shick A check of History of Bucks County Pennsylvania, edited by J. H. Battle (The Reprint Company Publishers, Spartanburg, South Carolina, 1985, page 1057), shows three Shicks living in the area of Quakertown.  Though there is no Minnie, John or Martha, perhaps you may be able to find a connection here.  The reference reads as follows:  "Reverend J. F. Ohl, pastor of St. John's Evangelical Lutheran Church, P.O. Quakertown, was born June 26, 1850, in Cherryville, Northampton County, Pa, and is the son of Milton Ohl and his wife, Mary Elizabeth, a daughter of Alexander and Rebecca Shick....  That is all that is listed in connection with the last name Shick.
