I am seeking information on the 1936 buriel of Julius Drager, Sr. I have a copy of a funeral invitation card that indicates this funeral will be at Newtown Cemetary Chapel and interment at Newtown Cemetary. Arrangements by Stacy B. Brown Funeral Home in Newtown, PA. That is the only information that I have about Julius Drager and would like to find out much more about this gentleman as I believe that he is my great grandfather's brother. Thank you for any assistance. Delores Saskatoon, Saskatchewan Canada

I hope I am not disturbing you by writing. I reckoned as you are from Saskatchewan you might be able to help. My Uncle, Joseph Benjamin Graham was married in Eyebrow in 1923. Although we have a copy of his marriage Certificate. It just gives his name , the Brides name, the Date of Marriage and by whom the ceremony was performed. Was this all the information given at this time. ? Would it have given the parents names and witness's. would it have given the marital status of the Bride and Groom. Hope you have time to reply. thank you for any help. Hi, Muriel The information on the certificate seems to vary from place to place and time to time. I was lucky enough to get my husband's grandparent's wedding certificate from NYC in 1927, and it had their parent's names, place of origin, where the ceremony was performed, and who performed it, as well as the fact that neither had been married before, and who witnessed the ceremony. My own marriage license in NYC in 1982 had only our names, the judge who performed the ceremony, and one witness. Do you know the church where they were married? You could call or write them, and get more information. If you want me to call them (it doesn't cost me anything) let me know and I will get the information for you.
