    3. I have not had any response/comment to my request however that could be because the link was incorrect or that no-one has any comment to make!. The link has now been changed and is now: http://files.usgwarchives.org/pa/chester/land/andrews-g1.txt http://files.usgwarchives.org/pa/philadelphia/land/andrews-g1.txt You may find the letter difficult to read as little attention was given to consistent spelling in 1775. The gist of it is that, somehow, 200 'overplused' acres of land got swallowed up by others who acquired it by one means or another (foul or fair I do not know). 300 years is a long time ago and there was a war with the British soon after which could have had some influence on matters. Please see transcript of letters regarding land at Naamans Creek and also a city lott in Philadelphia from William Penn. I was hoping someone would be able to throw some light on events. Cyndie Enflinger has yet to publish other items which are to be added on the subject of this distant relation of ours whose birthdate is unknown and whose date and place of death is also unknown (to us). Evidence of his presence in Chester County/Pennsylvania is, as yet, undiscovered. I found reference to tax being paid on 5 horses etc. by someone with this name but was not sure of the authenticity. He managed to have 2 wives - the first called Elizabeth and the second 'Mary'. I don't think any of the 8 children were born in PA as their births are registered in Wiltshire, England. If anyone has information relating to proof that he did actually live at Naaman's Creek at his 250+ estate that he named Spi-cop", please let us know on this side of the 'pond',.. Robin Andrews
