Hi All I am giving a lot of thought about doing the DNA testing to further my quest in search of my ancestors. I have read about FAMILYTREE and ANCESTORY.COM, and others offering such programs, I would appreciate your feedback on which organization you would choose, and why. I imagine that none of the programs share the information with one another, therefore choosing the program that reaches more people would be the wise choice I assume. Richard - My family used FamilyTree, and we're quite happy with it. But, that's because there was an Administrator to take care of the results and post them. Since we had a proven ancestry, other people with our surname wanted to compare their results with ours to see if they were related. The Administrator took care of posting the results so they could see who were direct descendants of our ancestor and who were not. It was especially helpful to those who were not related because they now know they were barking up the wrong tree (pun intended).
