    2. I searched under Hollars/Hollers/Holas in 1810 and 1820 in PA from Heritage Quest with no luck. I found an Albert Hollars in familysearch.org having been born in TN and I believe it shows his death place as KY. His birth state listed is different every year. Kentucky, Tennessee, Virginia...I honestly think he was hiding or something. He also went by the name Burton in a few census'. I am wondering if the Hollars name is/was big in Pennsylvania. Hope that someone can help! My husband's ancestor. Albert Hollars b) abt 1822. It has been passed down thru the family by the bible that Albert Hollars was born in Pennsylvania and ran away from home at the age of 12. I have his decendant info, now I am looking for his parents and siblings. Is it possible that there might be something out there with the connection. I am not real good at searching and hope someone can help! Many Thanks ;) GOD BLESS, Christine Maguire-Hollars "May the best you've ever seen, be the worse you'll ever see" Researching the Surnames Maguire-Rafferty-McGrath-Riley McAllister-Giese-Aaronson-Thorn-Healy ********* Visit the threaded archives of this list: http://archiver.rootsweb.com/th/index/PENNSYLVANIA ********* ------------------------------- To unsubscribe from the list, please send an email to PENNSYLVANIA-request@rootsweb.com with the word 'unsubscribe' without the quotes in the subject and the body of the message ********* Visit the threaded archives of this list: http://archiver.rootsweb.com/th/index/PENNSYLVANIA ********* ------------------------------- To unsubscribe from the list, please send an email to PENNSYLVANIA-request@rootsweb.com with the word 'unsubscribe' without the quotes in the subject and the body of the message ********* Visit the threaded archives of this list: http://archiver.rootsweb.com/th/index/PENNSYLVANIA ********* ------------------------------- To unsubscribe from the list, please send an email to PENNSYLVANIA-request@rootsweb.com with the word 'unsubscribe' without the quotes in the subject and the body of the message

    3. You could try doing an advanced search in HQ where you only put the first name and then the age range, census, etc. That way if the last name is under a weird spelling, like only one S you can pick it out. Nancy
