    1. [PA] Older Death certificates

    3. [thought this important to pass long, thanks kindly, Nena] From: confido@ix.netcom.com Subject: Item of Interest: Grassroots effort to put Pennsylvania Death Records online People for Better Pennsylvania Historical Records Access (PaHR-Access) are asking for our (Genealogists, Researchers, Family Historians) help in a grassroots effort to make older Pennsylvania state death certificates available online. Please read their informative website and join in the effort. For those of you who do not YET have Pennsylvania research to do... take a look and you will discover *why* it is so frustrating for those of us that do! http://users.rcn.com/timarg/PaHR-Access.htm It would be wonderful if ALL 50 States had these records online, wouldn't it? Thanks, Lauren List Admin Clark-dna

    2. Please do NOT send (or respond to) test messages on the list. There are far better ways of checking for list traffic--for instance checking the list archives to see whether messages have been posted: http://archiver.rootsweb.ancestry.com/th/index/PENNSYLVANIA/2008-06 If you are able to post to the list (regular messages--not test messages) then you are subscribed to the list. If you are not receiving mail from the list (and are subscribed) the problem is on the receiving end and you need to check your filters and those of your ISP. Thanks!
