Hi all just wanted to let you know there is an OHLINGER/OLINGER family reunion this Sunday, August 1, 2004 at 12 Noon. It will be held at the St. Peter's UCC Church Grove on Maidencreek Road in Molltown, Berks County, PA. Everyone is asked to bring a covered dish, dessert or relish tray; sodas are provided. Bring you family info and old photos to share! Various games will be played. This year is the election to pick new officers. If you can bring something to be auctioned off: something new, home made, home grown, white elephant, wrapped, unwrapped, what ever!!!!!!! Hope you can come! crystal
Hi, Linda: You're quite welcome. If you can provide names, birthdates, birthplaces and where they were living in 1860, 1870, & 1880, I'll see if I can find census records for you. Do you know the name and location of the poorhouse? Debra On Sunday, Jul 25, 2004, at 22:03 US/Eastern, Linda Dougan wrote: > Debra, Thank you so much, It has been a big help. May I ask a > question. At least you can get an idea of where they were which can give ideas as to their life experience. If you give (again?) the details you know maybe we can help more. Eliz

In the past week or so we have loaded a lot of Civil War gravestones for the PA companies. This is from the collection of Jim Davenport. If you had family members that were in the PA companies and moved west you might want to check this page out. I was surprised to see how many PA vets there were in Colorado. http://coloradogravestones.org Gail

Carilisle Indian school may be gone but there are records of who attended the school. You can find these records at the National Archieves in Washington DC. They do have a website I think it is nara.org Also it is online who attended these schools I located the site a few years ago when I was trying to locate my husband's family. However the did not attend. Jim Thorpe did though. You can email the person if you do not find the name you are looking for and she will do a look up. Good luck.
