    1. Another Roxborough, PA RIGHTER
    2. Peter RIGHTER (d.1819) was married to Elizabeth TINUS on October 30, 1759...Peter was the son of Bartholomew RIGHTER and Elizabeth. Bartholomew was a brother to Michael RIGHTER who's will and family info I sent earlier. Here is his Peter RIGHTER's will that I found at rootsweb.com... Peter RIGHTER, Roxborough Township. Phila. Co. Yeoman. October 2, 1817. June 26, 1819. Book 7, Page.30. To my wife, Elizabeth RIGHTER, and after her decease, estate to be sold and proceeds to my nine grandchildren, the children of my son, John RIGHTER, deceased, son, Joseph RIGHTER, granddaughter, Hannah JONES, daughter of my daughter, Mary JONES, deceased, granddaughter, Elizabeth RIGHTER, daughter of son, Anthony RIGHTER, deceased, daughter-in-law, Rebecca RIGHTER, widow of son, Anthony, daughter-in-law, ____, widow of son John RIGHTER. Exec: Friend, John LIVEZEY of Roxborough Township, Phila. Co., miller. Witnesses: Joseph LIVEZEY, Thomas LIVEZEY. Notice the surnames LIVEZEY and JONES.... Now providing that the information that I have pieced together from the internet is correct... 1. I do have a Thomas LIVEZEY in my family info. He was married to Martha KNOWLES born April 23, 1723. Martha was the daughter of John KNOWLES and Ann PAUL. Thomas LIVEZEY and Martha had a daughter Martha who was born June 03, 1755 in 'Glen Fern', Roxboro, Philadelphia Co., PA. Martha (the daughter) married Peter ROBESON who was born in Philadelphia, PA on November 30, 1748. Peter is of the same ROBESON family that married into the POTTS family. 2. I have an Evan JONES that was married to Elizabeth KNOWLES. Elizabeth was Martha (KNOWLES) LIVEZEY's sister. I really do think that the RIGHTERs are connected somehow to the RUTTERs and POTTS of Colebrookdale, PA. These surnames are all intertwining. I have a few JONESes and LIVEZEYs in my family tree that connect to the ROBESON/RUTTER/RAMBO/POTTS families in some way. Any thoughts? Ella

Ella ---- Ella- I have the 7 children of the first marriage between Christopher GEIGER and Mary Barbara GEIGER, nee GEIGER as: 1) Anthony born 26 April 1754, bapt. at Trinity Lutheran Church, Reading, PA. Anthony married Christianna Durst and settled in VA where his name evolved to KIGER. Anthony's son Benjamin KIGER had a son William Wiekle KIGER who was an Oregon Trail pioneer about 1860 who settled in Corvallis, OR. Kiger Gorge and Kiger Creek in Harney County, OR are named for this family as is Kiger Island in Corvallis. The famous wild Kiger mustangs are named for Kiger Gorge. 2) Jacob, born about 1755 in Douglassville, PA. Jacob served in the Rev. Jacob settled in Fayette Co., PA. He married and had at least one daughter, Sarah--probably other children. This family name also evolved into KIGER. 3) Henry, born Douglassville, PA -- was married and had two daughters but was decd. by 1805 as listed in his father's will. 4) Catherine born 9 July 1757, Douglassville, died 18 Sept. 1783 in York PA. She married William LEWIS of Berks County, PA. Their three children are named in her father's will. 5) Mary Magdalena born 17 Dec. 1763 in Douglassville, bapt. at Trinity Lutheran Church, Reading. Married Joseph KENDAL. 6) Margaret born about 1766, Douglassville, died 13 May 1767. Buried St. John's Lutheran, Gibraltar, Berks Co., PA. 7) Elizabeth born 2 May 1772, Douglassville. Bapt. 23 Oct. 1779, Trinity Lutheran Church, Reading, PA. died about 1803. Married Nicholas DICK. The 7 children of the second marriage of Christopher GEIGER and Mary ROBESON are: 8) Sarah, born about 1775 or later, near Gibraltar, Berks Co., PA. Married prior to 1800 to Philip Hinkle, Jr. [Note: The Henckel book lists Sarah as a child of the first marriage but she is not listed as a child of Barbara GEIGER, deceased, in Berks County Orphans Court records--so I believe she is a child of the second marriage.] 9) Elisha born 2 May 1776, Gibraltar, Berks Co., PA, died 12 Nov. 1821, Gibraltar. Married 16 Dec. 1798 (Trinity Lutheran Church, Reading) to Mary JONES. Both are buried at St. John's Lutheran, Gibraltar. 10) Barbara (twin) born about 1778, Gibraltar, Berks Co. died 12 May 1778. Buried St. John's Lutheran, Gibraltar. 11) Christina (twin) born about 1778, Gibraltar, Berks Co., died 20 May 1778. Buried St. John's Lutheran, Gibraltar. 12) Charles born 1783, Gibraltar, Berks Co., PA. died 25 July 1792, age 9 years. Buried St. John's Lutheran, Gibraltar. 13) John born 12 Oct. 1784, Robeson Twp., Berks Co., PA. bapt. 29 May 1785 at Trinity Lutheran Church, Reading. died 13 July 1823, Philadelphia, PA. He married 16 March 1815, Trinity Lutheran Church, Reading to Charlotte HARRISON of Union Twp., Berks Co. They had two children. 14) Christina II, born 13 July 1789, Gibraltar, Berks Co., bapt. 14 Nov. 1789 at Trinity Lutheran Church, Reading, PA. She married to John VANEDI on 27 March 1810 at Reading, PA. Joan

Valentine GEIGER of Ittlingen, Northern Kraichgau, Germany, emigrated to America/Philadelphia in 1717 on one of the "three little ships" mentioned in the introduction to Pennsylvania German Pioneers by Strassburger and Hinke, along with his father-in-law, Rev. Anthony Jacob HENCKEL. Valentine GEIGER was married to Johanna Frederica HENCKEL and had 7 children with her and then married second Maria Elizabeth SCHMIDT after his first wife's death. The connection to the ROBESON family, is that Valentine GEIGER's son Christopher (from his first marriage) married second (after the death of his first wife Mary Barbara GEIGER, nee GEIGER, widow of his older brother Anthony GEIGER), Mary/Maria ROBESON (1747-1808). Christopher GEIGER had 7 children from his first marriage and another 7 children from the second marriage. Joan
