    1. In need of suggestions b 1946
    2. HI, I have several ideas, one I would take the surname of the person and post on all the lists that may cover that area. for anyone related to that name to contact you regarding this person. I would go to the white pages on line and contact people of that name that may be in that area.. I would expand that to within a hundred miles if no results in a close area. YOu didn't say whether you thought he may be adopted.? there is an agency you can register with in case they are trying to reach family :>) I would check with the local Genealogical Historical society regarding any one researching that name.. Obviously he may have had Uncles aunts etc in area? Since MY mother is alive and this man born the age of my younger brother there is a good chance much family is around if you can locate them. 3. hi there. I am new to your list, and by way of introduction, my name is MAGGI, I am an english lady, currently living in greece. after a lot of searching, I finally discovered that an ancestor of mine settled in pennsylvania, almost certainly in 1890, he was originally fom bolton lancashire uk. his name was NATHANIEL HUNT, his wife was HANNAH thay had 2 children (that we know of) possibly more, the childrens names were ELIZABETH HUNT, b 1884 in bolton, and FRED HUNT b 1889 in bolton. I would love to make contact with anyone who thinks they may also be descendants of this family, or any of you old enough to mabe even to have known ELIZABETH or FRED. if you are a HUNT living in this town, maybe you would like to e mail me, I have traced the HUNT family back to 1690 in lancashire uk, so if you are my relly, I have a lot to share. thanks for reading this. regards maggi _________________________________________________________________ MSN 8 with e-mail virus protection service: 2 months FREE* http://join.msn.com/?page=features/virus

    3. I grew up with a Malcom Arter living near the corner of Lithia Springs Road and Old Danville Highway, about three miles east of Northumberland, in Point Township, Northumberland Co. If Malcom is still living he would be in his 80's. I moved away from the area in 1953 and I cannot say if he had children who live in the area. It might be worth checking in that area for an Arter family. Nelson R. 3. Thanks for responses. Candy & Lindsay - at the moment I am trying to find my ggggrandfather Jiban/Ziba Olen/in's birth place in PA and then hopefully his parents names. When I have that I will then have first names to go with Olen/in and can look up deaths. Good to know how to go about it in PA. It seems though, if I don't know the county I may not ever find his actual birth record to begin with. I'll give the rootsweb site a go and hope for the best. Many thanks Carla

    1. for Carla
    2. Carla http://www.vitalrec.com/pa.html Here is a link to New Castle PA to obtain a PA death record. If you have the date of death it is $9.00 to get a cert. If you don't know the date of death they will do a search for you (you can check their link to the exact amount) but the last time I checked it was a ten year search for about $20.00 a decade. What year are you looking for? The SSD index is very helpful. Let me know. Lindsey
