    2. If you have an Ancestery.com membership you can get the info from the Social Security Death Index a lot of times. The only bad thing about that is if there are more than one person with the same name....unless you know at least part of the date or SS # it is hard to tell if you have the right person or not. I try to match them up with any obits if possible. Or if I find an obit....then I try to find the exact date. Excuse me if I am out of line here....new to the list! *G* Louisa Faw Fraternal - Bish, Bailey, Martin, Winchester, etc. Maternal - Bailey, Pangborn, Steadman, McCain, Lewis, Dowd, etc... I need to get a copy of an article in that magazine titled "The Pennsylvania Militia in 1777". Should anyone be able to scan that in and send it to me by email, I would be most grateful. Nell Truitt

    1. [PA] Maps + Book
    2. Alan Buckingham
    3. Hello All, I have scanned and uploaded more pages of the book "Historical Sketch of Carlisle and Northwestern Pennsylvania". This section contained several maps. 2 of the maps were large fold-out ones which had to be scanned in sections and stitched together so apologies for any lines that don't quite match up. They are an 1816 map of Erie and Crawford Counties and a 1904 Railroad map of Erie and Crawford Counties. Both of these appear with the book as well as separate larger versions under the "Map" section of my site. The pages just added also contain several smaller more localized maps.
